"I woke one day, and found I was famous"

                                                                                                                                                                        Lord Byron

A Man Most Ordinary

"These words are written for those who have been told they will never make a living from writing."
                                                                                                                                                                     Gordon Shaw

The Romantic movement originated in Europe in the late 18th century, and encouraged among other things a revolt against social rules and conventions, an interest in nature, and the free expression of emotion and imagination.  English poet Gordon Shaw celebrates this movement and the poets who inspired it, and recreates their style in his long poem  A MAN MOST ORDINARY
